The switch mechanical setup must be done such that the switch
state does not change during the decceleration from home search
velocity to 0 velocity (after the switch is detected).
You may be able to solve your current problem by reducing the home
search velocity.
It's also possible that you may need to debounce the home switches,
but I would check that you are not overrunning your home switch first.

I think the problem is not mechanical, it's software.
if I implement the switch on only one axis and override the others, it works fine, but only if the switch is normally closed. because the software does not give the possibility to configure the switches as normally open.
if I add another switch and another axis does not work anymore it gives an error,
the switches work fine, they were working with the old electronics and i have checked them

This is not a software issue
For the 7I96 with normally closed switches you need to invert the inputs
(since they will be true when the switch is not activated)
For the 7I96 with normally open switches no inversion is needed
If one switch affects the others, you likely have a wiring error
possibly an unconnected input common. I would verify
that all switches work as expected when monitored with halshow
before proceeding,

I can't understand how this works,
Can someone tell me if it is possible to only use one switch per axis to do home (only a switch nothing more) and what are the parameters that I have to change in pncconf?

Did you verify that all switches work as expected with halshow?
(they should all be false until tripped and true when tripped)
This needs to be done first.
To run halshow from axis, select Machine --> Show HAL configuration --> Watch
Then select the pins to watch:
joint.0.home-sw-in
joint.1.home-sw-in
joint.2.home-sw-in

I would help if you uploaded the config files ie HAL & INI
It would also help if you showed how you have wired the switches just sketch a diagram how you are connecting it to the mesa 7i96 including the power supply .

Are TRUE all time
When i push the switch the led up in the board of 7i96 but in the Halshow no change of state
The switches are connected to board in the pin-in 0, 1, 2 this pin go at pin of switch and the other pin of switch at 12v and the common pin of board at GND
I'm making a scheme of my electronic, when finish it I upload here

You need to use watch, not show (show is not realtime)
