Here is a screen I did years ago. More than likely not many peoples taste, but it demonstrates having a single BMP/JPG and having transparent buttons and DROs over it. I have found this to be the easiest method for screen design.
I wouldlove to start making screen for EMC using Mocca.

I did install Mocca but now EMC just creashes each time.

WOW

I installed today the latest files and

I'm impressed

Tried to modify f.x to downsize to a 3-Axis machine.. Will there be a easy to do description?

In my opinion mocca is woth to get his own categorie in this forum... to collect diffent "machine-gui's" etc.

I installed latest files.
Very cool.
I wish it were in a more common programming language.
It needs to be able to load halmeter and halconfig.
The wiki is probably the best place for third party skins.
Keep up the good work!

I'm getting an error on 10.04 trying to install mocca.
john@zotac:~$ sudo apt-get install libglib1.2-dbg libgdk-pixbuf2 libgtkglext1
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: Couldn't find package libglib1.2-dbg

I'm following the install pdf... which is not good for cut and paste as the pdf inserts funny things for dashes etc.

Thanks
John

Is it possible to upload an iso with Mocca already installed into EMC with all the support files included.
This would allow us to do a live boot, and or install EMC without needing to do a further install of mocca.

be patient John, the packages are tested only for 8.04, I think. :(
Next update shall work for 10.04 as well. :)

Or use the sources to compile... B)

The latest Rev (143up) has a popupmenu (Rightclick on the MainWindow)
From this menu you can start halconfig, halmeter, emctop etc...

I kinda thought it was something like that... is there a make file or something to compile it with?

Hello Thomas,

I have been watching mocca with interest and it sounds like a winner.

At he moment the program can handle up to 5 Axes (XYZ and 2 of the ABC axes)

Are there plans to add more axis in the future? On a knee mill I like to use xyzw where w is the knee and z is the quill.
