It does work, although not sure to what extent, Andy and i think Spumco were working and testing this using the "carousel" component included with LinuxCNC:
linuxcnc.org/docs/html/man/man9/carousel.9.html

I was thinking of using a reelays to trigger "step" when index sensor triggers. It will work like a dummie motor.

I will check carousel comp as well.
