Funktioniert LinuxCNC auch mit LinuxMint?

Hallo,
ich kann von der Debian Live-CD mit LinuxCNC meinen Rechner booten, die Installation von der Debian Live-Cd hat bei mir aber nicht funktioniert.
Anscheinend hängt sich der Installationsvorgang bei den Netzwerkkomponenten auf, egal ob Lan oder Wlan. LinuxMint kann ich problemlos installieren. Gibt es ev. eine Quelle von der ich LinuxCNC zu LM nachinstallieren kann, oder passen die Programme nicht zusammen?
In der Paketverwaltung habe ich LinuxCNC nicht gefunden.

There is a script mentioned in Chapter 7.1 of the Getting LinuxCNC chapter in the docs. 
It might work but it may not find the PREMPT_RT real time kernel on Mint so install that first
You could also install Debian from their website and run that script. Please ensure you install XFCE and not Gnome

Note for our  Debian live installer, you must be connected to the internet when running the installer. It is best for this to be a wired connection.
