I tried a RIP install and it had no VCP Actions, this fixed it for me:

export PYOPENGL_PLATFORM="x11"

But this doesn't fix it for Wayland for me unfortunately.

Are you using a rip install or package install?
MIne was arm64 Debian Bookworm with Wayland and a rip install.

On a RIP environment I didn't have problems with x11, but didn't try with Wayland.
But in this thread I was referring to a package install.
