OK the FPGA configuration file is in the HAL file since this setup
was created with pncconf.
The configuration is here:
loadrt hm2_pci config="firmware=hm2/5i20/SVST8_4.BIT num_encoders=3 num_pwmgens=3
(SVST8_4.BIT) which is not the correct FPGA configuration for a 7I48
Does pncconf have a option to select a 7I48 daughtercard?

Phew - we changed the firmware option and it worked. Nearly 3 days to get this to run.
Ok so which is the correct one.
I have
5I20 7I37 7I48
SV12
SV12_2X7I48_72
SV12IN_2X7I48_72
There are other options but these seem the most logical.

As far as I know with the distributed bitfiles, only ones with 7I48 in the
name are appropriate for use with the 7I48
name are appropriate for use with the 7I48

Thanks. We used the SV12_2X7I48_72 and it worked.
Next issue Limit switches ?? They work in the PNConfig but when I try and run I get a error. Tried inverting signals but still the same.
I have posted it under a previous discussion on it
