Motenc Card problem was created by GStewart
Hello,
I am trying to build another LinuxCNC system (currently running 4 machines on LinuxCNC) and I ran into a problem with version 2.5.
I am not sure if the card is not being recognized or if there is some other problem.
I even tried pulling a Motenc card from a running machine to verify that I don't have a bad card.

Thanks
Glenn

Is the motherboard the same as the other system that recognize the Motenc card? i
this error _may_ indicate a PCI bus issue.

An easy way to check is boot from the 2.5 live CD on system thats known to work with the Motenc card.

This is the problem. I decided to try another box while I was waiting for a response and everything is working now on an old computer.
The I3-3220 3.3Ghz processor and Asus P8h77-VLE motherboard does not seem to work with LinuxCNC and Motenc.
Thanks for the help.
