No movement, zero nada zilch on all axes - SOLVED was created by mekhanic7
I have converted a liquid dispensing machine to steppers and cannot get any movement.
I can jog on screen, run g code on screen etc but no actual movement.
My e-stop switch works fine tru the breakout board.
The steppers power up and hold but no movement.
setup:
Parker OEM650 drives
Kelling nema 23 steppers
C10 breakout board
Dell 3ghz comp, 1.5gig RAM, built in parralell port
Not sure where to begin with trouble shooting...

Not really enough information there but to start...
Make sure you have the correct parallel port address and that the port is working.
Check to make sure the signals are getting to your drives. (you can check direction pins with a voltmeter.)
Check to make sure you have your direction and step pins correct in your config.
Does your system use a charge pump?

Do you have your C10 board setup correctly to match the drives and enabled?

I checked for signal thru the BOB and was getting voltage. I then pulled apart the drives and the actual drives were not enabled internally via jumpers. I got motion!
Thanks for the help!
