Does sv6_7i48 not do what you want?

Yes, i think so.
I have a 7i43 400K, 7i48 servo card and 7i34 + 7i70+ 7i71 for I/O.
In /lib/firmware/hm2/7i43-4/ path there isn't any configuration for 7i48.

It in the list:
git.linuxcnc.org/gitweb?p=hostmot2-firmw...a263cff8d9c8;hb=HEAD
But you are right, it doesn't come in when I update the hostmot2-firmware package and it isn't in the ZIP file from Mesa.
I don't currently have a system set up to build firmwares, so I can't build it for you, but it should be trivial for someone who is set up to make it.

For smart serial do you have advice?
Thanks,
Michele

I tryied to build the bit file following the guide:
tom-itx.no-ip.biz:81/~webpage/emc/xilinx...14_install_index.php
with a bit of difficulty I managed to build the configuration file. Here is the result.
The file seem to run and I configured 5 encoders and 6 PWM/analog.
Next step sserial.
Suggestions are welcome!

If you look at one of the .vhd files with "ss" in the name you should be able to copy the format for a set of smart-serial pins .
Then you can try making a bitfile with your custom pinout.

Hi,
this is the file that i builded.
At startup the 7I43 run ok loading smart serial drive, but after stop. Probably I have an error on the sserial link and the system unload the card.
I'm not sure if the configuration string is right "sserial_port_0=0000xxxx"
Somebody have experience on sserial config?

Try leaving out that string. You will get s sensible default.

With default string same problem. I have the 7I71 on the first serial channel and the 7I70 on the second serial channel. If I declare the cards in pnfconfig without any inputs/outputs assigned the system start normally and I see no pins for ss cards. If i assign a input or output the system start and then unload the driver of 7I43.
Probably I have a problem on dialog between 7I34 -> 7I70,7I71. I read that emc 2.7.3 stop if there is a problem on ss link.
I cannot understand what happen. Is there a way to test serial link?
