I am just getting my machine set up and am looking for suggestions on good switches to use for homing.
I would like not to spend more than $25 each for a 3 axis machine (ShopFox M1110 with CNCFusion kit 1)

Regards,
Dave

Omron makes good limit switches, but they are outside your budget. Automation direct sells some decent looking switches www.automationdirect.com/static/specs/limitaap.pdf

I've been happy with most items I've purchased from automationdirect.com, typically their products compete with products costing 3-4 times more.

I use $4 inductive proximity switches from China (NPN. Shielded, M8 size) and then enable index-homing to get the accuracy.
The latter part might not be an option with steppers, though a second prox on a cam on the motor shaft would help.
