Wrong dimensions for router

Got the router to load and excute code now but my dimensions are off when I move 1.2m it only move ~80cm.

I have used stepconf to set the router up, microsteps are set to 8 on drivers and in software and the pitch for the ballscrews is correct as well.

I have scale = 320 for my 1604
scale = 400 for my 1605

1:1 drive, been moving up and down the axis repeatability is good just dimension are out. I have stall protection (AM882 drivers).

Any ideas?

Thanks

I think you have our scales the wrong way round
eg. for 1605: 200*8 = 1600 steps per rev, 1600/5 = 320 steps per mm (not 400).
Your machine units are set for mm aren't they?

I think the scales for the 1604 should be 400 steps/mm and 320 for 5mm screw. Did you just switch the numbers by mistake in your post or do you have them wrong on the machine as well?

Are both axis coming up short?

Hi I mixed the numbers up in my post I had it set to 320 for 5mm and 400 fot 4mm pitch.

I've realised it's exactly 1/2 (Not sure where I got 85cm from lol) so I changed in stepconf the ratio to 1:2 and now everythin is spot on.

Will post my .ini tomorrow see if I can work out why ;)

But importantly it works now upgrade so I can have another go at homing with 2 switches and 2 motors on 1 axis.

This is my Jumper settings

This is from the AM882 manual

Problem solved, if you look closely at my jumpers you will see I have them the wrong way round, so off is on and on is off. This meant my microstepping was set to 16 NOT 8.
