Homing A axis was created by danimal300
Finally built a 4th axis and got it calibrated for my machine. Now when I auto home, A does not home (which it shouldn't because it has no limit switches) but I cannot touch off because A is not homed. When I put my homing switches on, the "Home" button is replaced with "Home All".

I would like it to home in position automatically when I press home all. How is this best accomplished?

Disregard, I figured it out. For others with this problem, just set the search velocity and latch velocity to 0 for the axis that does not have the limit switch. This will just insert the current position as the homed location.

If this is not the best solution, let me know. I am open to other ideas, but I just got this to work for now.

HOME_OFFSET = 0.000000
HOME_SEARCH_VEL = 0.00000
HOME_LATCH_VEL = 0.00000
HOME_IGNORE_LIMITS = YES
HOME_SEQUENCE = 0

Yes that is correct and you can also add some match marks and jog till they line up if you need the rotary to be in some specific position when you home.

The ignore limits is if you have both limit and home as the same switch.
