Hi all,

So...after installing pokeys, i was planning to power up the mesa 7i76e for the first time.
Unfortunately i had latancy problems. They were to high and i was unable to communicate with the board.

After some help from Lcvette and Kcj, i tried a linuxcnc stretch and run it from usb. I did alot of afford to install the touchscreen and pokeys, and now i have to do it all over again.
So...I start up the new linuxcnc from usb....did some latancy test, came at 20k or so, tested, did not work, did 1000k. Workt!
At my surprise, even the touchscreen workt directly.....

I did some tuning to the motor, because they jiggle while jogging and keeps jiggling when stationary.
After changeing the P value from 0 to 1000 it was over.

The problem

Now it is not perfect to work with. After jogging or moving, the motor turns a slight back.
See link for video.

Stepper Turnback Linuxcnc

This is a pncconf bug on metric unit configurations

Removing all the "setp pid.N.maxerror= .0005" statements from the hal file should fix it
