when the signal is not inverted the switches show joint 0 and joint one on limit switch error.
so i inverted the signals.. now the switches to not register at all.
have tested the switches with a meter, the switches are working
the e-stop is doing the same thing...
not sure what could be causing this issue, (the same switches and e-stops where functioning fine on the 5i25-g540 before i put the 7i76
12v field power
5v other power
both leds are on
field pwr ->switch -> input on 7i76

figured this out, it was a typo in the server period thing, was causing the sserial to shut down due to errors, (left off one of the zeros)

You should have gotten a cascade of error messages if you lost contact with the 7I76
If you want to generate a fault if you lose contact with a sserial remote, you can use the
hm2_(card).0.sserial.port-0.run
pin to monitor the health of sserial connections
