				Yeah, I'm definitely requiring 2.8 now, at least as currently configured. I don't know how long it'll take them to move to 2.8. I do have a gantry machine.
You think they use a hybrid with MachineKit? What makes you think that (I don't know enough about the differences to know how that might be useful)?

There are some interesting developments with GUIs under development. ONce complete, this one will likely be better than Path Pilot. forum.linuxcnc.org/41-guis/34996-another...ect-underway?start=0
You will really will make it very hard for yourself if you attempt to adopt pathpilot on a non tormach machine.
At least get your machine fully functional before going down that rabbit hole
