Z axis configuration issues

Z axis configuratiopn issues was created by mrmike
On a newly build router system, I can home the z axis, move the router down using the + button and move everything around, but when I do move it, the z axis shows going up instead of going down. I loaded a file I made to test the movement, and it does the same; going up when it should be going down. I have changed the A+A- wires, B+B- wires both individually and both at the same time.
If I change the home-search and offset away from a - sign, everything goes backwards I'll attach the ini and hal files. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You can try to invert the pin or change the scale to negative.

It seems like I'm going in circles. It seems to act like a 3d printer. If I change out the pins, or the scale, the axis goes the other direction.If I change over either one of the A or B pins, it goes the wrong direction. I'm missing something.

Have you tried inverting the pin instep configuration?

You can try,
MIN_LIMIT = -145
MAX_LIMIT = 0.1
Recommended home switch position is at retracted Z.
HOME_OFFSET = 0.5 or if Z deployed, HOME_OFFSET = -145.5
Perhaps need to invert some of the following, depending on the setup.
HOME_SEARCH_VEL =
HOME_LATCH_VEL =
HOME_FINAL_VEL =
MIN_LIMIT = -145
MAX_LIMIT = 0.1

+ button will move it up, - will move it down, that is normal. Z axis works mostly on the negative side, meaning you set the top of the workpiece to 0 and move down on the - side while milling/cutting.

Inverted pin, changed scale to a minus, it didn't matter. I'm wondering about the ini file. I'm looking at that. When I open Axis, it shows the router at the bottom of the scale, no matter what I am doing

MIN_LIMIT = -0.1
MAX_LIMIT = 145.0
This seems reversed, causing home to be the spindle in the table
Min limit should be -145
Max should be .1

Thanks for all the help. Set the min to a negative, played around with the other values, changed the direction with the wires, and got it all going. Time to play
