Hi,
Is it possible to use the spindle encoder A and B differential pins as index pulses on the 7i76?
I am using a 6i25 and DMM servos, hoping this is possible as it's pretty expensive to ship another board to Australia..
Any help would be great!

you can drive the servos / axis/joint to a Inductiv Switch BX version
then use the INDEX pulse from the Driver to home precise Pos
the Spindle can be homed or indexed same way
OR you hook up a counter that resets every X-pulse as a index counting the RPM
so Yes you can do this
the Real servo Mesa Card woudt be a better choice for you
ask the people here from australia
Phil From PlasmaC will help you

I have a couple of bits and pieces in Brisbnae but not what you need. I think you need a 7i85s on the other 6i25 port.
Thinking outside the box though, you might be able to do some hal trickery and maybe some relays to share the encoder but it would be messy.
