mux 4 not recognized was created by jpg
hello, I am new to the forum, but not to linuxcnc, I have been trying to scramble on it for a few months.
(see my video you tube)

at the moment, i can't connect the "mux4" component, it is not recognized, do you have any idea, sorry for the spelling, i'm french

configuration: 2 cards // db 25 + 1 Chinese bob for this example

with the modified "mpg .hal" I can move the pap, but not change the speed

Can you post the complete config ,you have not posted the custom.hal

Also have you edited anything in a word processor as that is a no no, always use a text editor like notepad etc.

sorry I had erased the custum .hal, I put all my configuration, what I do not understand is that it does not recognize this component (
and I only open the files with the notepad)"mux4" so useful for an MPG, mine will be in 2 axis for lathe

there can be no spaces between count =
loadrt and2 count=3
loadrt mux4 count=2

And if you have to edit Linux files on a windows PC, use Notepad only.
The error says there are windows line endings in the file.

there can be no spaces between count =
loadrt and2 count=3
loadrt mux4 count=2

On windows it is the best to use notepad++ as editor.
And additionally winscp plus even xrdp (on linux side)
That gives you an easy remote accessed working platform.
You could even run a job, what i personally would never do.
