Howdy,
Recently I changed my CNC mill from a Mach3/USB controller combo to a LinuxCNC 2.7 PC with a parallel port. I already managed to get all the functionality back and then some, but I'm struggling on how to make my old USB wired pendant work. It is an LHB04B-4 unit (16 button, 4-axis).

I made a new udev rule as indicated here xhc-04b manual and compiled the V6 driver package after correcting the USB product ID. However, when I run the xhc-04b command with no other flags, I get a "Segmentation Fault" error. When I do this, the LCD on the pendant displays some coordinates for a second or two and then it looses connection.

Any ideas on what I need to change to make the MPG work? I feel I'm so close to have a fully functioning machine, but I have no clue what to do next.

Any suggestions? Should I post on a different section of the forum?

Nevermind, got my LHB04B-4 pendant working in LinuxCNC 2.8 with the XHC-WHB04B-6 driver and the helpful talla83's YT video.
