Hello,

My google foo is not the best but I haven't been able to find my exact issue elsewhere. The closest I've found is suggestions to check field power. I've verified that it is working but if there is any more troubleshooting I can do with that please let me know.

The full error line is ./my_LinuxCNC_machine.hal:39: Pin 'hm2_7i76e.0.7i76.0.0.input-24' does not exist
3844

This error came up when I tried to launch the file created by PcnConf Wizard.

I will try to get the full error report up when I get home. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have field power (12 to 24V) on TB1?
W1 in the left hand position?
W8 in left hand position?

I forgot to Move W8 back, Thank you for the reminder to check it. I can at least get into the program now.

I've now been able to get into the Linux CNC config that I made, however I ran into a new error upon opening.

hm2/hm2_7i76e.0: Error after doit clear

hm2/hm2_7i76e.0: Smart serial card
hm2_7i76e.0.7i76.0.0 remote error = (29)
Under Voltage

Hopefully this is another simple pin issue.
So far I have confirmed its not a connection issue with the card and I don't believe my servo period is below 1,000,000. Tonight I will look at my connections to make sure they're not shorting somewhere.
My W1 is in the right hand position because I have a 5v power supply and a 24v supply.
Thank you for your assistance so far. I can submit this as a new question if this is required.

Unless you have 5V digital outputs in the field I/O section
you should have W1 in the left hand position
