RS485 Spindle controll was created by icy
I am trying to get an working config for an 2.2kw chinaspindle with an RS485.

At the moment i am able to start/Stop and change direction of the spindle.
But only a an fix frequency of 100 HZ at my Omron MX2. I ve already tried to raise the spindle value in the settings of gmoccapy.

I am using an 7i767e with an Omron MX2 2.2kw , an USB 485 converter and an 2.2kw watercooled spindle from rattm. If i connect the Mx2 to the Hitachi software i can set the max frequency of 400.

Maybe someone take short look at my config files and have an hint or idea for me ?

I wouldn't expect a non-Hitachi VFD to work with the WJ200 driver.

It might be better to use the 7i76 spindle analogue control. It is more realtime, at least.

The Omron Mx2 and the Hitachi Wj200 is identical in construction . There are some cnc system running the identical configurations without any problem,

It looks like commanded-frequency needs to be in Hz, but you are passing it revs-per-second. However that isn't far off of being correct for a 2-pole motor, so probably isn't the problem.

I would initially suspect that the VFD config needs changing, so set min frequency, max frequency, pole count etc.
