Hello everyone. After I finished my EtherCAT installation I want to bring things to work on my milling machine.
But i neither got stepper motors or a MesaCard, but servo-drives. Should I still use the Pncconf-Wizard for the first configuration, or should I code completely new .xml and .hal files by my own? If i have to take the second path, where should I start?

EtherCAT and Mesa Ethernet are not the same thing, so i do not get what are you asking.
For Mesa boards be it PCI/PCI-E/ETH use PncConf to make a config, you can make as many config as you like on the same PC, you can also make simulations of the configs, some already included, so you can test as much as you like with no hardware.

Thanks for the reply. I just basically wanted to know if I can use the Pncconf-Wizard, even if my setup does not contain a Mesa-card but uses servo drives instead of Steppers (so using the Stepper-Config Wizard does not seem to make sense for me).
