Spindle PWM set minimum value or disable reverse? was created by FHUGO
Hi,
I am setting up my spindle control from a 7i75 using the 7i75 config tool. I am using the 0-5v output for my spindle however the output starts at -5v and I have to increase the speed all the way to 0v to start my spindle. I only operate the spindle clockwise so it is possible to set the start/min value to 0v? Or is this a matter of disabling CCW spindle control?

Not sure I understand,:
If you use the +step5 output on the 7I95, when PWM is 0, you should
have a 0V output and when PWM is at full scale, you should have +5V
output. The 7I95 cannot output negative voltages.

I just double checked the wiring after reading your response. I had my ground wire connected to the -step5 so it was going -5v to +5v. All working now!
