Hi everyone, I’m new to linuxcnc and currently working on a machine that is built by someone else. The machine runs on a Mesa 7i76 board and I’m trying to add coolant control to linuxcnc (basic ON and OFF will be good enough). Where should I edit in the configuration to add the function and define the pin for the coolant control signal? Thanks.

How did you create the configuration?

Quick answer is, I didn't.

The machine is built and configurated by someone else and passed onto me. There isn't many documentation left. This is my first experience on LinuxCNC and still trying to understand how everything works on it. It would be great if there is any insight for what I should look for in the configuration files.

Attach the ini and hal files so we can look at them.

Its going to be a line in the HAL file something like:
net flood iocontrol.0.coolant-flood => hm2_5i25.0.7i76.0.0.output-11
