Ok thanks PCW. Right now I have DIR ENA connected to some regular mesa outputs and I have those outputs linked in hal to the mesa DIR ENA, that was how I managed to get it working up till now.
If you have any suggestions on how I could get it going nicely Im all ears. I was thinking like maybe I need a....transistor or something.....
Thank you for your help, the rotational pulse pin was easier than I though.
One last question about hooking up the driver.
Is there something I can do about this? like a filter capacitor or something?
I wanted access to the spindle torque feedback, so I am open to suggestions.

I am trying to connect my driver analog feedback (fig 32) to the analog pins on the 7i76. When I connect the spindle speed out analog, and the spindle feedback analog to the mesa, I get interference and it sends the wrong speed to the spindle driver.

There is no connection from the analog out (which is full isolated)
to the analog inputs but VFDs are often very noisy so a common mode
choke on the monitoring signal and signal common may help.

Ok, thanks PCW Ill looking into common mode chokes (which look fancier than ferrite beads)
Both the signals work individually, and at the same time, checking with multimeter, but when I plug the ribbon cable into the mesa when both are connected, it the spindle makes an audible different noise, and the RPM reading on the driver is has around 100-250rpm difference than what I commanded. The feedback signal will still be correct, but the output is a lower reading. Im using an IDC26 pin ribbon cable if that makes a difference.
Thank you for all your help, your patience is appreciated as well.
