x,y,z Stepper Motor Movement factor 1,2 - what's wrong? Linuxcnc on raspi4 was created by Hartmut.Seitter
Hello,
I am running linuxcnc 2.7 for several years successfully on may old pc - however this pc must be replaced, so I will use the Raspi 4 instead (linuxcnc 2.9.1)
I made the same configuration using PNCConf on the linuxcnc on raspi (running linux 2.9.1) as on the old pc running (linuxcnc 2.7).
The settings are identical from the old pc and the raspi. The setting for the x,y,z axis are 200 steps per revolution and 200.000 per unit.
The unit is set to mm on both config
On the old pc the stepper moves the axis correctly (e.g. moving 5cm it will move 5cm) however on the raspi the axis is moved 6cm instead of 5cm.
Does anybody have an idea, what might be wrong?
Thanks and best regards

Compare your STEP_SCALE in your inis and adopt the known good settings from your old config. I normally just cut and paste all the old settings to the new ini
