Hi all.
Im new on here.Im struggeling with spindel start up when linuxcnc program startup.
M5 start the spindel.
M3 and M4 turn it off.
Spindel enable seem to have been reversed.Using a 6i25 card with a no name china model bob. I got for free.
So can I make it work or should i buy a different card.
Like a daugther card from mesa.

Cute machine!
Since you have 6i25, Mesa 7i76 would be the preffered choice, and it has full spindle control, even with encoder feedback.
Keep in mind that you have to power the machine after LinuxCNC starts and power off before shuting the PC down, while using 6i25 in parallel port mode.
I would make the machine work as is first, then get the 7i76.

The BOB in the picture (blue card) should have 0-10V output for spindle, so you might want to try configuring that, but it does require another 12V power supply.
You should double check this as i never used that type of BOB, and in general i do not use BOB's.
