Estop change position coordinate was created by csurimilan
Hello,
i have a issue when i press the Estop button (when i turn on the maschine).
My progress is -->open LCNC, hit Estop to turn on the machine, Hit the machine ON button and after i have to home all axis.
So my issue is when i turn on the machine (all the positions are 0) and when i hit the Estop, the coordinates change always in different position.
I would be thankfull if someone could help me with that.

Is this a servo system or stepper system?

When you power off the drives, they wil llikely jump to the nearest full step so you loose position anyway...

Take the time to home all on power up. A stepper system is normally limited to 200 discrete steps per rev. Usually you uses microstepping and some drives (like the geckos) are hard coded to microstep.Stepper system

only in my comuter they are "jumping" to another position (my motors are not moving) and its a larg number like almost 300mm in x and y axis

More info, please
Is there any feedback to LinuxCNC from the motors? Encoders? Glass scales? Resolvers? Anything?
What controller board?
Is it parallel port?
What is wired to inputs?
What drives and motors?

it does not matter. if you home your machine, it still has to move to the home switch and homing will zero the DROonly in my comuter they are "jumping" to another position (my motors are not moving) and its a larg number like almost 300mm in x and y axis
