When I start up LinuxCNC, the error window doesn't pop up anymore to give guidance as to where a flaw in the code may be. Is there a way to get it back? Launching my configuration shows the LinuxCNC logo for a few seconds, then nothing. Is there some code I have to add or write to launch it?
I made a fresh install of Debian 9 with LinuxCNC following BigJohnT's thread . I was making some ClassicLadder code and noticed that if there was a bug in how I wrote it, no error window would show up. Usually I could read through that and it would say I wrote something wrong on some line. I eventually figured out what I did wrong in the *.hal and got Axis to show up again. Now, I am doing a whole lot more to the *.hal and I need that window back.
I have tested some older LinuxCNC configs I made and they launch, but again, if I add an error to the .hal, it doesn't bring up the error info window.

In Master it seems to be broken at the moment. Launch from a terminal screen until it is fixed.
