Hello everyone, a new user is introduced.
buy a 7i76e mesante and install linuxcnc uspace from here:

this version:
www.linuxcnc.org/testing-stretch-rtpreem...tch-uspace-amd64.iso
PC Laptop lenovo T430s i5 8GB Ram
Is it necessary for me to make any more modifications or with this installation I already have all the necessary things that work?

That is all you need for it to work and a lot of reading.
Get the Mesa 7i76E manual from the mesanet web site, read the parts pertaining to power supply for the logic and the field part, the network setup part and the wiring and connections part.
Basically you have to set the network on your laptop to manual and give it an IP address of 10.10.10.11, gateway of 10.10.10.1, DNS 10.10.10.1, save and reconnect. On the mesa board there are jumpers to set the board IP to 10.10.10.10.
Open a terminal and type
ping 10.10.10.10
you should get a reply, and you are ready to use the board, after you make a config for it, or just search the forum, there are some ready made configs that might work for you.

I made a howto connect that card and posted if here in the forum in the driver card section.

Also under the Hal examples, there is an example 7i76e config I put together for master branch. It is probably not 100% correct now with the change to multi spindle support.
