All,
I been lurking about for a while now. I had Debian 7 and LinuxCnc installed.
However, I had to upgrade some hardware and I need the latest version of LinuxCnc.
So, from what I can tell I need Debian 9.9 and LinuxCnc 2.7.14?
What I can't find if where to get all of this. Everything links back to the Debian 7 Wheezy files - Which have been EOL'ed.
Can someone point me in the right direction?
Is there an ISO that has Debian 9.9 /w LinuxCnc installed etc that I can simply download and put on a bootable USB stick to install?
Thanks,
WTB

linuxcnc.org/downloads
There is Debian 9 or Stretch version there, the the upgrade how to is
buildbot.linuxcnc.org
Or you can install on Debian 10,
forum.linuxcnc.org/9-installing-linuxcnc...ick-and-easy-install
Or Linux Mint
forum.linuxcnc.org/9-installing-linuxcnc...nd-easy-installation
Both links use Mate desktop, but it should work with any other desktop.

So I went and downloaded:
linuxcnc-stretch-uspace-i386-r13 (1).iso
I updated my Rufus and wrote to USB Stick using both the regular and the DD mode.
I stick it into the computer, power up and it says non-bootable disk.
This is the same stick I used to installed Debian 7. I just wiped it and started over. I also tried a new usb and it failed the same way.
Thoughts?

I have similar problems with my usb install. my machine would not find the usb or the dvd of linuxcnc install. someone mentioned legacy boot option in the bios. I enabled legacy boot and move the usb boot option to the top and it found my usb. This is a newer machine so there must be something different in the boot option for the newer bios. hope this helps
