Installing LCNC on Beelink  BT3 PRO II

I am trying to install LCNC on a BT3 Pro II - www.getdget.com.au/beelink-bt3-pro-mini-...ows-4gb-64gb.htmlThe live boot works fine. however, when I try to install Linux, I get through to network setup, and get an error about missing file

Originally, it was looking for the same file but ending in .bin, and I found that file on the internet, and copied to USB, but am having no luck with the .txt file.

I tried copying that file, and renaming, but no luck.If I skip the file, it just hangs on configuring network.
Do I need to format the hdd to remove the windows installation?
Any other ideas?

Thanks Tommy. I'll have a look at the Mint install tomorrow. I believe I have an iso somewhere that beaglebrainz made, which I have previously installed on the odroidh2+.

Any ideas of that will work?

I tried the iso file, and networking worked, but no wifi. I tried the Mint 20 install, but the system seems unstable on RT kernel. I will go to do something, and it will just freeze. Only option is to power off.

Any ideas?

I think Mint 19.3 is a better option. That is what Tommy linked to. I followed his 19.3 instructions the other day and it worked perfect!

I'd go with a USB wifi dongle and be done with it.

Another thing you can do is run a live session of Mint 20 and go through dmesg to see what gets loaded.

Look it just may be that that particular wifi device is not supported by a 4.19 kernel, it may need a later kernel.
