Error message. was created by EastRaw
Good time of the day.I'm building my own CNC machine and totally new to Linux. Original idea was to install LinuxCNC on Mint, but somehow i've managed to install Debian with Linux CNC.Well fine with that as long as it works, but it doesn't. When i wanted to do some initial testing of my motors, 7i76e and so on i'm getting this error message. Honestly i have no clue what went wrong and why it's not working. Any help is appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance.

Using 3 party websites is never a good idea, to many scripts running on those sites.

How are you starting LinuxCNC? It seems that LinuxCNC is being passed a G-code file where it expects an configuration (INI) file.

Hi Andy,
I'm starting it from Applications and than I'm trying to open a test file... File was made for me to test motors.
I'm doing it wrong i guess?

I think so. You need to open a machine configuration file first, then open the .ngc file from the GUI.
Have you created a machine config yet?

You think it's wort installing 2.8.2 straight away?
And if so, i just make bootable USB from ISO and it will install everything from zero right?
NVM,
