Don't forget the docs in multiple languages. They have to consume a lot of space...

I see your point, but challenge you to find a practical HDD or SSD that it won't fit on. What is the smallest HDD that you can currently buy?

The ISO contains a full OS as well as the motion control software.Actually, I'm not struggling with space issue as much as I can't get my head around the fact that a motion control software would have be be above gigabaye in size. I think something of comparable capabilities can be done in a few tens of megabyte at most.
