WARNING:
- Do NOT go to Linux Mint forums to ask for help regarding this image, NEVER EVER!!!
=
- This is for anyone wanting to have a Working LinuxCNC installation in Minutes, has no support except here on this forum from me, uses development version so might have issues.
=
Removed Libreoffice, geoclue, redshift, flatpak, and some other useless stuff
Installed Inkscape, Blender, OBS-Studio, KdenLive, VLC, GIMP, Darktable, GNumeric
Enabled FIREWALL by default!!!
-
In Live mode when booted from USB it runs with Generic Kernel
After installation to hard drive it runs 6.10.nn RT-Preempt kernel
Warning: WiFi will probably not work with the RT kernel, so reboot and hold down right side SHIFT key, go to advanced options and choose the generic kernel, WiFi works fine with it.

Hi Tom, I tried to make a pendrive with mint but it doesn't boot... then I tried with balena etcher but it says missing partition table. maybe I'm wrong, I haven't done anything for almost a year.

Use Rufus in Windows, or are you using Linux to write the USB?
Edit:
I use Ventoy for everything, give it a try, it is magnificent as it can boot pretty much every ISO and IMG file, even Win98 setup!
www.ventoy.net/en/index.html
After installing Ventoy onto a USB, all you have to do is just copy the ISO to USB, no software, no burning, nothing.

Hi Tommy. I installed your build. It works well, loads quickly.
If in the ini file DISPLAY = axis, the screen does not load.
If this is replaced with DISPLAY = gmoccapy or with
DISPLAY = qtvcp qtdragon
PREFERENCE_FILE_PATH = WORKINGFOLDER/qtdragon.pref
it works fine. Maybe I don't understand something.

Post the error report here.
Did you try running the included Axis sims?
Usually Axis issues are always related to OpenGL not working, so you can try adding or removing the graphic card.
-
FYI, i have installed this 7-8 times by now, it works as advertised, meaning installs in about 8-12 minutes on some Lenovo i7 6600U and 7600U.
Also axis works always.

Yes, I launched the included Axis sims on a dell OptiPlex-7780-AIO Intel Core i7-10700.
This ssd has debian 12 and mx23, does this affect mint 22.1?

Seems like an issue with languages/locales, or missing translation to Russian.
Try to set locale to UTF-8, see if that helps, if not, then short of installing it again in English i am out of ideas.
I did test on my Laptops, Axis works, even the parallel port config works despite not having a parallel port.

Yes, you're right, the problem is with languages/localizations. I installed it in English, there are no problems, it works perfectly. Localization is not necessary for operation. Thanks a lot, Tommy.
