Hi everyone.
I want to know if anyone tried to use a beckhoff EL4038 to control the position of a DC motor , i have it wired up , i can control it manually with the +-10V , now the problem is , i have no idea how to control the Z axis with the analog card , later i will have a El5101 encoder card to get the feedback , still waiting to arrive , so , i wanted to know if i could setup the Z axis to be controlled with +/- 10V and no feedback for now .
Thanks

to control the axis without feedback, you simple have to connect
joint.N.motor-pos-cmd to joint.N.motor-pos-fb .
In this case it is important that you have done proper scaling of the axis and the +-10V output.
