I write this post to help myself first and other users as a consequence.
We often experience some new little-known brand ... at the first start it could be a disheartening experience because there are no instructions and the manuals are insufficient.
I have experimented with Maxine Ep3 with good results using generic xml drive ... I have never been able to use the absolute encoder functionality with linuxcnc, and unfortunately the torque driving is not allowed ... however speed and positions are impeccable.
Now I would like to experience a brand called Step and IK3AS model I was wondering if anyone has had the opportunity to try it ...
If anyone needs my xml for maxine, they just have to ask.
I'll post it here.
