Ethercat Master is ready. What's next? was created by ysy999
hello
After many frustrations (Raspberry Pi 4), I now buy an HP Mini PC.
Well installed.
I have installed ethercat master.
It seems to be working fine.
I prepared BK1100 IO device and Panasonic Ethercat servo motor.
Now I want to connect them.
I've studied Ethercat, but there's still a lot I don't know.
We prepared the XML definition file of the motor and also prepared the XML file for the BK1100 product.
Now I need to set these in my profile.ini.
I don't quite understand from here.
Do you have any good advice?
Could you possibly get a working profile sample file?

Hi,
Ok first thing, do you have a BK model or EK model. Unfortunately, BK will not work, only the EK model does.
If you have the EK model, hook it up to your LinuxCNC computer and then from the command line do "ethercat slaves" to see what response you get.
