Hello community,
I've started to configure a new EL8 servo controller for LCNC Ethercat.
The drive and motor is up and running from Motion Studio 2, but not reaching OP state in LCNC. I'm very new in both LCNC and EtherCAT.
Status from Motion Studio: PDS: AxisA (1: Not ready To Switch On), ESM: AxisA (2: Pre-OP)
The motor was set to absolute encoder Pr0.15(1)
The manual has this part where describing this status:
I do not have any clue, what to do with. Appreciate some directions. Thanks.

Solved first problem to communicate with the servo. I have a bad address in pid:
<slave idx="3" type="generic" vid="00004321" pid="000010b2" configPdos="true">
after changing the pid value to pid="000010c2" the drive entering OP state and X axis starting to work from Qt dragon.
Now I have to fuguring out how to home with absolute encoder and without limit switches.

Meantime I solved homing and working great with absolute home mode. The LCNC receiving home state without moving.
But I need to calibrate the CNC (XYYZ) so I have to square the YY and manually write the encoder state. The drive has an oprion for this, here is the part of the manual:
Anyone has the knowledge how to:
1. enter the HM (6 mode)
2. set the encoder to the actual position
3. exit to CSP mode (8 mode)

@eduard
I have the same drives but I haven't had anytime to set them up. I was working on it a few months back but had to put it on the back burner for a little while longer.. If you don't mind posting your files when you figure it out so when I get back to it I have something to work off?
I would be super grateful
Thanks
Eric
