ethercat: waiting for devices

Hello,I followed the " Ethercat installation from repositories - how to step by step " however when I get to the point of "EtherCAT slaves" I get nothing.I have it attached to an EK1100 which I bought secondhand. Do I maybe need to reset it? When I do EtherCAT master it shows: Master0 Phase: waiting for devices. On this PC, I have two Ethernet ports (I used the correct MAC address, even tried both without success).All help is appreciated.

got it working.

it was same case that "DEVICE_MODULES" was written incorrectly.

so far i am liking the ethercat stuff with linuxcnc. quite easy
