Adding EtherCAT to LCNC 2.9.2

Is this still possible (on Debian 12) or would you advise upgrades ?

For a Rtelligent R6L028E I get to the installation stage where I can test for:

ethercat slaves -v      
and
ethercat pdos          
but
ethercat sdos        returns nothing. Is this to be expected or am I doing something wrong ?

The only time I've used SDO's is to configure the drive. Maybe your drive does not need any configuration.
SDO's are not required to use cia402 commands

does lcec_configgen create a XML file?
