Why on earth does something to configure ethercat require the entirety of OpenCascade?

Das ganze wird dann natürlich, bei den Dimensionen, nicht ganz billig zu haben sein. Selbst aus Fernost nicht.

Scheint mir halt ein bisschen viel Aufwand um ein Werkzeug auf einer Drehachse zu montieren.

try checking (property) Indicator_hal_pin option.
You can also set the hal pin name (property: pin_name), other wise it will use the widget name.

Start with the official raspberry pi image, disable wayland, install the real time kernel and then the linuxcnc packages.

Still seems to far fetched, if it melts if will blow out the nozzle, very quickly, but might be just at the surface ...
Hypertherm, so lends to a lot of trust, although i am leaning to marketing.
I have read everything on Hypertherm, Kjellberg Finsterwalde, Thermal Dynamics, Cebora, Victor (now owner of most of these), etc, and never ever bumped into melting Hafnium, all say eroding, although technically that is melting small parts.
As for "controlled current ramps", it does help longevity, but older stuff never had that, just a relay switching on and off a huge transformer.
Some have another transformer to cut the cutting current for a short period while the pilot arc is on till it detects current flowing, then turns on the relay, Thermal Dynamic Pak90 has such a system, and uses high voltage pilot at 50Hz or 60Hz, not HF.

Was ist das F66? Wenn ich das bei Google eingebe, kommen nur Autos. (Ich glaube nicht, dass du das gemeint hast).

@PatJac The rk3588 works really well indeed with the 6.1.75 kernel and just the last core isolated. The 6.12 kernel deb files are now uploaded for both boards too. And let us know the result you can get with the RK3399 board please. But likely the results will be better when the LinuxCNC source code will be edited so it'll move the rt task to the isolated core instead of the fixed last core, because the first 2 cores are the faster ones.
