I purchased a DIY CNC plasma table. I've got everything assembled and running; I've even managed to get the machine to run the g code that the previous owner had programmed into it. I wanted to sketch and use fusion's CAM capabilities because I am familiar with it. However, I receive a message stating that plasma is not supported when I attempt to publish process using LinuxCNC as the post. Why am I misusing this? LinuxCNC reportedly supports plasma.

Yes, linuxcnc support plasma as well as fusion 360. AFAIK, the problem is that there's no 'official' post available for this. See here: cam.autodesk.com/hsmposts? You will find many posts for 'waterjet/laser/plasma' but none of them are for linuxcnc.

Then, a quick search at Autodesk HSM community revealed this posts: forums.autodesk.com/t5/hsm-post-processo...ocessor/td-p/8112836 See the linuxcnc plasma post near the end of the thread. Maybe this would work for you. If not I would suggest to ask there.

Your post is a bit vague.  Are you running plasmac or qtplasmac?  Or is some other software driving the table?

If you are running plasmac or qtplasmac, you could try this post:
