Comment out the follwing lines in your HAL file.
Delete the contents of the gmoccapy_postgui.hal file and replace it with the following
This should result in a single toolchange dialog box that will take the offsets from the tool table for the new tool. This will not measure the length of the new tool. You will have to go throught the configuration steps in the Auto Tool Measurement section of the gmoccapy documentation to get the tool length measurement to work.
Code:
# loadusr -W hal_manualtoolchange
# net tool-change iocontrol.0.tool-change => hal_manualtoolchange.change
# net tool-changed iocontrol.0.tool-changed <= hal_manualtoolchange.changed
# net tool-number iocontrol.0.tool-prep-number => hal_manualtoolchange.number
# net tool-prepare-loopback iocontrol.0.tool-prepare => iocontrol.0.tool-prepared
Delete the contents of the gmoccapy_postgui.hal file and replace it with the following
Code:
net tool-change gmoccapy.toolchange-change <= iocontrol.0.tool-change
net tool-changed gmoccapy.toolchange-changed <= iocontrol.0.tool-changed
net tool-prep-number gmoccapy.toolchange-number <= iocontrol.0.tool-prep-number
net tool-prep-loop iocontrol.0.tool-prepare <= iocontrol.0.tool-prepared

Has any one used the auto tool measurement in Gmaccopy?
I think I have all the settings correct but it doesn't work.
Does Amy one have any ideas?

Have you changed things in your config since you last posted it?
If so post it again and I will take another look.
What exactly is it doing when you try to use the auto tool measurement? What is not working?

my understanding is that when a tool change is given in the g code file the machine moves to a specified location the tool is changed manually and then the machine automatically does a tool touch off for the tool height and then returns to the g code file to finish the job.
When the tool change comes up the message appears and when you click continue the machine continues, no movement to the specified location and no touch off.
Here is the newest config files.
Thanks
