size of default preview screen. was created by john11668
I am trying a 10"touch screen which has been lent to me .
I quite like it but wonder if I can reduce the size of the preview screen to give more space for the buttons .
Currently the preview seems to be taking up about 60% of the screen so buttons are small and I am having to use a stylus for them.
I know I can enlarge the preview if I wan more detail . 10" screen seems to fit nicely on a small lathe

What is the native resolution of the screen?
Buttons will have 56 Pixel hight on default, the preview will be smaller in normal resolution.
Most probably the screen will have native resolution of 800x480 and will not fit the needs for gmoccapy
May be you use a non native resolution and that's why the buttons are so small

Have tried various resolutions .
The recommended , which I think is 1024/768 leaves the bottom buttons obscured by the menu bar .
So I take it I cant reduce items or shift them about , other than by altering resolution. Problem seems to be that higher resolutions enlarge the preview . but leave the buttons at around the same size

You can enable the "auto hide" feature of the menu bar, or panel.
