What is the path to your macro?
I'd guess one of these needs adjustment.

PROGRAM_PREFIX = / home / jura / linuxcnc / nc_files is set by default. Add PROGRAM_PREFIX = / home / jura / linuxcnc / nc_files / macros as well

I personally have not used it or tested it with a probe.
QtDragon's creator,Jim, said he lightly tested it when I included it in linuxcnc.

I has a bunch of HAL pins that need to be connected for it to work.

Qtvcp is a wonderful, very functional interface. As for me, only
SubCallButton.widget as in Qtpyvcp which makes it difficult to use macros, but everything else is great. I am heartily grateful for your work and your tolerance for me.

I know nothing about subcallButoon (really little of pyqtvcp for that matter) so can't comment on it.

Looks like a button that calls an Oword macro defined in Designer?

I could add similar ability to action buttons, though I think I'd have it read the macro name from the INI.
