If you could post your 2.2.2 files that would be great.

Has anyone had problems with pathpilot connecting to the 7i92? When I load pathpilot it says trying to connect to machine control board.
What should the W5 and W6 jumpers be set to? Also could it be because I'm just powering the board without anything else connected to it. I just wanted to update pathpilot.

Yeah the command line console says its looking for 10.10.10.10. If I pull up my network conne tions it shows eth0 as 10.10.10.9

I tried it W5 down and W6 up still not working.
I am using a USB cable connected to my laptop with one end cut off and the power and ground plugged into the mesa. Could it be that it's not getting enough power?

The way I understand USB is by default an unconfigured port will deliver up to 100mA for USB2 and 150mA for USB3, that should be enough for a unloaded 7i92.
if your driving some load off the IO pins then it won't be enough.

i really would try using a 5v 2amp wall wart as that's the max power the 7i92 says it will consume depending on loads

A raspberry pie power wart will do it.

Did you power cycle the 7I92 card after changing the IP address jumpers?

Can you ping the 7I92 card?

You should have no red LEDs illuminated, and the Yellow power LED illuminated
and possibly some green LEDs illuminated
(the green LEDS count RX packets in the default EEPROM config)

The red LEDs should go on briefly at power up and then go off

I'm gonna try a 5v 2a wall wart just to make sure that's not the issue. Yeah I power cycled the board after switching the jumpers. I'll try pinging it too. The yellow power light is on but no other lights. Is it the user leds that blink when counting rx packets?

If the yellow light is on, power is OK so I would not bother with a bigger supply

Do you have link lights on the Ethernet connector?
