I looking for dragchains.
The budget ones are all too small for the plug of the Plasma torch.

So my thought was this feed all the wires for sensors steppers etc through the cable chains and put the torch wiring on a boom above the table.

Advantage I can use budget cable chains.
Second advantage I can quickly remove the torch if I need to cut something by hand.

No, it is better this way as most plasma cutters do not come with a shielded torch cable, so having that near other sensitive wires causes a lot of issues.
If the torch cable is shielded, then it can be put together with the other cabling.

Most cable chains can be opened up to insert the cables. Many commercial machines run the torch with the other cabling. i have never had an issue but I have a machine torch so its not useful to be able to remove it.
