But I am having fun and that is the main thing (well it is for me anyhow)
Cheers, Phill.

Thats about it. Its all on the first post of Phill's thread and also in the read me files in GIT
I wrote a how to here when I installed it on my machine
forum.linuxcnc.org/plasma-laser/36410-co...fig-for-any-hardware
but things have changed a bit because Phill has now got a configurator
If you use Sheetcam, I've shared a working post processor and Phill has a python script included that reads the Sheetcam toolset and imports it into the Plasmac GUI.

Phill,
I am grateful for all your work, also for Icelander and Rod in helping you, and while doing that proving to the world what Linuxcnc can really do. I am really sorry for not helping much, but life has a way of messing plans up, luckily I am working out the issues and soon I can join.
It has been and still is a hell of a ride fiddling with Linuxcnc and bending it to our needs, no matter how complicated or iracional or strange they might be, and that my friend is something that 95% of humanity dies without feeling the joy of.
On to read the rest of new posts here and get some sleep, it is 2:52AM here.
With utmost respect,
Tom.

I'd like to add that you can install a distro with the preempt kernel already compiled and installed from the LinuxCNC downloads.

The complete Plasmac System working catalogue docsbay.net/plasmac-system-catalogue may help you to learn it entirely.
