Found this post by Stefan some days ago, it has a lot of information on setting a plasma machine using Proma Elektronika THC150 and toma_thc config.

cymbalukdesigns.com/knowledge-base/linux...lasma-configuration/

That same config now works also with THCAD and all motion controllers made by Mesa ( thank you PCW ), and it can generate ARCOK signal from THCAD without the need to wire it to THC/plasma ( thank you PhillC )

For new builds please use the new config made by PhillC named PlasmaC as it has much more features, to the point that it can compete with industrial controllers and surpas them.

Lol no but it sure is a great name. Ive never used a Proma or the Toma_thc config.

But that Stefan has a very well put together website, lots of great information. I will have to make my own to compete with him.

O how easy things get out of hand and take a fuzzy direction ! :)
I left out his name as it was in the link.
If i had put it in the title, none of this would have happened!
We do need some fun around here, we are all serious and stuff.
And i do agree that he has a nice web site with plenty of well explained info. He is a member of this forum, but i forgot his nic.
Now i'll go try to find another Stefan with a plasma cnc, more fun ! :)
